What is the Card Deposit Feature?
The Card Deposit Feature allows you to transfer money from your debit or credit card directly into your TRUMIA account through the mobile app. It offers an instant, simple and secure way to top up your account balance using your card.
How can I top up using my Card?
To deposit money to your account using your card:
- Open the TRUMIA app and find the account you want to top up either through the Dashboard Widget or in the All Accounts section
- Click on Add Money
- Select the Payment Method you wish
- Choose a pre-defined amount or insert another amount and click deposit
- Enter the card details and click deposit
- You will now be required to confirm the payment with the Card Issuer outside of the TRUMIA app
- Upon confirmation, go back to the TRUMIA app and the money will be added to your account instantly.
Can I use any card for the deposit?
You can use any debit or credit card issued that support this feature. However, some restrictions may apply based on the card type or issuing bank.
Are there fees associated with card deposits?
Any fees associated with card deposits will be shown when making the deposit. You can check the fee structure in the app before completing the transaction.

Card Deposits are done instantly and you should see your updated balance immediately.
