Important Note
To ensure that these payments are processed correctly we have limited this function to only be available on Maker and Checker set ups. If you are currently set up as Straight Through Processing, please contact us on clientservices@trumia.com.
Step 1: Navigate to Beneficiary Maintenance
- Log in to your Trumia account.
- Select Beneficiary Maintenance from the side menu.
- Click on the yellow + Add a New Beneficiary button.
Step 2: Select Beneficiary Upload
- On the Add a New Beneficiary page, choose Beneficiary Upload from the dropdown menu.
- Click Download File Template to obtain the file structure for bulk uploads.
- Rename the file using the structure Filename-MMM-YYYY (e.g., Partners-NOV-2024)
Step 3: Prepare the Bulk Beneficiary File
- Open the downloaded template in a spreadsheet application (e.g., Excel).
- Fill in the required information based on the column guide below.

Step 4: Upload the Beneficiary File
- After preparing the file:
- Drag and drop the file into the upload area or click Browse to locate it.
- Ensure the file format is
.csv
,.xls
- Select the appropriate Template Type (if applicable).
- Click Submit to upload the file.
Step 5: Review and Finalise
- The system will validate the file and display errors, if any.
- If there are errors:
- Download the error log for detailed information.
- Fix the errors in the original file and re-upload.
- If the file is valid:
- Review the beneficiaries added.
- Confirm the upload.
